With an award winning dairy herd renowned for quality and performance, diversification into directly manufacturing top quality farmhouse ice cream seemed an obvious diversification!
From the very start, the aim of the project was to create the very finest ice cream and sell direct to the general public from our well equipped, modern parlour sited within a range of traditional farm buildings especially developed for the purpose.
The construction and renovation process was a long hard slog - But we feel the commitment and attention to detail from everyone involved in the development was well worth while.
Today as you sit in the parlour and enjoy a delicious ice cream or a cup of tea or freshly ground coffee it's hard to imagine the building was once a farm shed - but ask us, and we'll show you a photograph to prove it!
When we researched ice cream manufacturing and recipes, we had three words on our mind - Quality, Quality and, yes you guessed it.... QUALITY!
Well our philosophy was, our award winning dairy cows have made such a great job of the milk, we really owe it to them to make a truly outstanding ice cream - And judging by the looks on our customers faces when they try their very first scoop, we don't think we've done to badly.
